Assessment

The first step in handling fire damage restoration is performing a thorough assessment of the damage and our customer’s immediate needs. We can handle getting the board up done, can help customers find temporary housing if needed and also coordinate a contents crew to come in and assess what is salvageable, what is not and get the contents packed out quickly to prevent any additional damage to them.

The Clean-up

Once the contents have been removed, the clean-up begins. We will perform any necessary demo of walls, floors and ceilings and then start the process of drying out any wet materials that have been left behind after the firefighting efforts. Our clean up process includes tediously cleaning any salvageable items like cabinets, drywall, light fixtures and more so that any remaining soot is removed, and the house is ready for repairs to begin.

Deodorization

Lotus has many methods to get rid of smoke odor in a home. Deodorization is an important step to ensure that the property does not smell like smoke in the future. Sometimes structural framing needs to be sealed with a smoke seal, in most cases we use top of the line ozone treatment to rid the property of smoke odor. Rest assured Lotus will not skip the critical step of deodorizing your home before repairs start.

Rebuild

Once all the steps have been taken to secure, clean and deodorize your home, the rebuild process can begin. Lotus is well versed in dealing with insurance companies to make sure you are getting everything you need to rebuild your home to pre-loss conditions. From HVAC cleaning, flooring, cabinets, drywall and everything in between, Lotus can rebuild your home and make it look as if the fire never happened.
